Credentialing Services

Upholding the Integrity of Healthcare Service Providers

CredentialMed values thoroughness in credentialing and requires attestation clauses with written explanations for review in the following areas:

  • License limitation, suspension, revocation or sanction
  • Hospital privileges limitation, suspension, revocation or sanction
  • Disciplinary actions
  • Felony and misdemeanor convictions
  • Narcotics license suspensions and/or revocations
  • Malpractice history
  • Personal history of substance abuse
  • Personal history of mental health issues
  • Gaps in work history of more than six months

In the event of suspension, the CredentialMed Credentialing Committee, with full expert medical-legal representation, evaluates the status of the suspended physician or allied healthcare professional. Re-instatement requires proof of current, valid and unrestricted licensure to practice and full credentialing or re-credentialing status.

Protecting Reputations All Around

CredentialMed is notified within one business day when any new or updated NPDB report names any of our enrolled evaluators. Continuous round-the-clock updates on an enrolled professional’s background offer added protections against rogue providers, lapsed credentials and other sanctions. CredentialMed is dedicated to ensuring the protections our clients deserve.
